This mug is a new combimation of three glazes on a new iron-rich clay body that I am using.  I really like the way the overlaps create some very beautiful color combinations.   My expectations almost got in the way on this test piece as it didn't fire as I anticipated.  My wife had to point out its significant attributes for me to see past what my brain said I should see - always learning something new!
